Phase 1
The School Year
Fall 2026 — May 2027
  • $300/week flat. No timesheets.
  • 15–20 hours/week on your laptop, your schedule
  • All costs covered — hosting, tools, APIs, everything

Phase 2 — The Prize

Matthew is not a professor, a VC, or someone selling a course. He's a retired entrepreneur who has built and exited three companies — and he genuinely believes the next window of opportunity is right now, driven by AI.

He has the capital to fund every project, the experience to guide the process, and the time to be directly involved. This program exists because he wants to find young people who are hungry and give them a real shot — not a résumé line.

His son is a Temple student. This isn't abstract recruiting. It's real.

No. This is not a coding program. The tools you'll use — Sintra AI and Cursor — let you describe what you want to build in plain English and the AI writes the code for you. Your job is to think clearly, move fast, and figure out what's worth building. Some of the best people in this program will have zero technical background. That's by design.
Each week you receive guided tasks tied to whatever the team is building. That might mean researching a market, testing an app, writing copy for a product, prompting the AI to build a new feature, or thinking through why something isn't converting. It's real startup work — product thinking, problem-solving, execution — compressed into 15–20 hours a week with AI doing the technical heavy lifting.
Yes. The $300/week is a flat stipend paid regardless of what any individual app does. You're not on commission. You're getting paid to show up, do the work, and contribute. Think of it as a paid learning environment — with a much bigger upside available later if the right products take off.
Matthew covers everything. Hosting, domain names, APIs, software subscriptions, AI tools — all of it. You won't spend a dollar on anything project-related. All you need is a laptop and a decent internet connection.
Matthew decides, and he's transparent about how he evaluates people throughout the year. He's looking at the quality of your thinking, how well you work with the team, whether you take initiative, and whether you're someone he'd want to build something serious with for a full year. If you're doing good work and being a good teammate, you'll know where you stand.
You'll wake up in a fully staffed house — someone cooking, someone cleaning, a driver available when you need one. You'll earn $750/week and have 2 round-trip flights back to the US covered per year. Weekdays are focused: 40–50 hours a week working alongside Matthew on products that are live or in the final push to launch. Weekends are completely yours. Bangkok is an incredible city and you'll have the time and resources to actually explore it. Full-time startup life — without the stress of funding yourself.
If a product gets sold or generates significant returns, 20% of those proceeds get split equally among the three Bangkok participants. If something exits for a million dollars, the three of you split $200,000 equally. There will be a clear written agreement spelling this out before anyone moves to Bangkok — no ambiguity, no verbal promises.
Then you spent a school year getting paid $300/week to learn how to build software products using the most powerful tools available right now, worked directly with someone who has done this successfully three times, and — if you made the top three — spent a year in Bangkok building things full time. The upside is real but it's a bonus. The experience and the skills are the floor.
Yes. Before the school year begins, every participant signs a straightforward agreement covering the weekly stipend, work expectations, and IP ownership. Before anyone moves to Bangkok, there's a second agreement covering the living arrangement and the 20% exit structure. Everything is clear in writing before you commit to anything.
Yes — that's the point. The school year structure exists specifically because Matthew wants people who are currently enrolled. No fixed office hours, no commute, no mandatory location. 15–20 hours a week. If you're reasonably organized and actually want to do both, it's very doable. Be honest with yourself before applying.
